Gold Coast Nightclubs

If one of the "BIG" things to do on your next Gold Coast holiday is to enjoy our nightlife, this page is for you. We've put this information together as unfortunately, some of our clients have found that having a great night on the town at Surfers Paradise or on the Gold Coast, can be a bit hit and miss. So here is some information that hopefully will help you have the best nights of your life, when visiting Gold Coast Nightclubs

To get the most out of the Gold Coast night life, we strongly recommend you join up with a party tour group on at least one night. In particular, we recommend Plan B Party Tours as, having been in the industry for nigh on 10 years now, they really are the best on the coast.

These guys, intimate as they are with the Gold Coast pub, night club and party scene, have set up their tours specifically to get around many of the pitfalls of the Gold Coast late night scene. Some examples include:

• Cover Charges - Every nightclub and pub has a cover charge. Typically this is at least $10. This means that, unless you stay at 1 club all night, you can spend a significant portion of your entertainment budget on cover charges. With Plan B, once you pay for your tour ticket, you get free entry into 6 night clubs (thats a saving of at least $60 on any given night)
• Nightclub Queues - Many of the Gold Coast clubs become very popular, resulting in long, slow, tedious queues. Why would you want to spend your night queueing up outside a nightclub when your Plan B Party Guides will walk you straight to the front of the queue and in the front door.
• Over zealous bouncers - Yes, unfortunately, they are on the Gold Coast also. For example, recently I went to Shooters Niteclub with my grilfriend and 3 of her friends who were visiting from NZ. I paid my entry fee, walked in and was immediately asked to leave and was escorted out by 3 bouncers. I did not have time to buy a drink, I did not have time to do anything wrong. There was no reason given for it, it was almost as if they wanted my cover charge and then got rid of me so they could let someone else in, making money on their cover charge also. Unfortunately this type of story is not uncommon. Plan B Party Tours though have their own security, so you will be looked after, and the chances of this type of incident occuring are slim. So if you get asked to leave a nightclub, at least you can be confident you deserved it.
