Gold Coast Surfboards offers three categories of product within its online shop. Each has a different return policy. Please review each policy carefully prior to making your purchase

Gold Coast Surfboards' stock

Gold Coast Surfboards sells stock it has purchased from a manufacturer and owns. In this case, the stock is stored on Gold Coast Surfboards property and is sent to the client by Gold Coast Surfboards staff. For all products sold from Gold COast Surfboards stock, we offer our customers a money back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase we will happily exchange or refund your money within 14 days of the delivery date of the purchase.

Please contact us via bookings@goldcoastsurfboards.com.au or by phone on 0423 637 242, prior to returning your item. We will advise you on how the goods are to be returned.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer an exchange or refund if the product(s) have been used, soiled or damaged by use. Items must be returned to us in ‘as new’ condition and with original packaging. Gold Coast Surfboards reserves the right to refuse a return on any product that does not meet these requirements.

Gold Coast Surfboards cannot be held responsible for any goods returned that are lost or damaged whilst in transit. All items returned to us via Australia Post must be insured for your security. We recommend that for larger items our courier service be used.

A refund will be issued at our discretion once items are returned and inspected.

Manufacturer's Stock

Many of the products sold by Gold Coast Surfboards are done so on behalf of a manufacturer. By not purchasing this stock ourselves, we reduce costs and therefore can pass on cheaper prices to you. In these situations, your purchase will be governed by the refund policy of the manufacturer. In these circumstances, we will act as a mediator, helping to facilitate a satisfactory arrangement for all parties. Surfboards and larger stock items are examples of such products.

We only deal with the products of well known manufacturers who have a similar refund policy as ours in this respect. Our manufacturers, like us, just want satisfied customers enjoying their products and do everything they can to resolve product disputes in a timely manner.

third party products

Some of the products listed in our online store are third party products. In these instances, by following the product links, you will be taken to a third party website where you will make your purchase with a third party merchant. In these cases, all refund and return requests should be directed to the owner of the website from which you purchased the product from. With these products, Gold Coast Surfboards has not processed the order, received payment or sent you the product. This was all done by the third party merchant. As we did not process the sale for these products, we cannot be held responsible for dissatisfaction in the product and/or return and refund requests.

Any refund requests in these circumstances will be refused by Gold Coast Surfboards, with direction to refer it to the appropriate third party website merchant.
