Australian Outback Spectacular

 

The last time the in-laws cam and stayed with us, it was one of the wettest weeks I can remember the Gold Coast ever experiencing. So it was me, mother in law and sister in law, all trapped under the same roof for a whole week. The week had "potential disaster" written all over it.

 

Showing wisdom beyond her years though, one of the distractions my partner organised for us was buying tickets to see the Australian Outback Spectacular. Unreservedly, this show gets our recommendation as the best show on the Gold Coast. As the title suggests, it simply is spectacular.

 

The Australian Outback Spectacular is a tantalising glimpse of Australia's bush heritage. Bushmen, outlaws, horses and dryz-a-bones, all come together in a show that is unlike any other theatre restaurant show in the world.

 

Accompanied by a 3 course traditional barbeque dinner, the show, set in a venue deliberately laid out to capture the essence of the aussie outback, will hold you in rapture, from start to finish. You'll become part of the competition as outback station competes with outback station for horseman-ship glory. Will your team have what it takes?

 

Watch a number of other spectacles, such as traditional aussie cattlemen pitted against the newer motorised outback vehicles. Its all wrapped up together into a very enjoyable evening, one which you can even enjoy with the in-laws :)
